Meghan looks stunning on the cover. Such a striking picture.

Watching the main ed I don't like the idea of wrapping bodies. Setting aside this I love the retro vibe in it.
And again, what a cover! Thanks for scanning, Diciassette.

i reckon if vogue italia still has the same concept but with 'models' like peaches geldolf, dasiy lowe, aggy blah blah i would've been like wtf but they didn't so i like this rock-edge romanticism
I actually REALLY like this cover! It's nontraditonal, but VERY sleek! The snapshot aspect to it also makes it quite appealing in a unique way. And I ADORE Meghan! I really appreciate that Meisel didn't portray her as she has been predominately shown before, as a tough, androgynous rocker chic. She can play decadent Newton-esque diva JUST as well (if not better!)!
The edit, however, does not hold the same mystique and compellingness as the cover, for me at least. Too many facial close-ups- which would have been great options for a beauty edit- and tableaus and not enough fashion. And the Warhol-themed edit is SO had. I've seen it before so many times! I do agree that Anna de Rijk delivers. She certainly does some GRAND editorial work. Hope to see her in other publications.

In my opinion, Anna de Rijk's face is one of those that looks a lot better with makeup on than with it off. When I saw her pics on the runway during the F/W 08 season, I thought her features were quite harsh. But now seeing her in this edit, I am pleasantly surprised. She does EXCELLENT print work and has such a magnificent presence! But I think the heavy makeup really plays up her features. That may sound quite degrading, but it is actually a compliment !

What I'm most suprised about is the fact that Sara Blomqvist is part of this ed. I did not expect her to pop up in a Meisel ed.
