It looks like a fanmade thing.
I'm waiting for the ed but after so many issues without Meisel, it's weak.

Super excited and happy for Lulu! But this cover is underwhelming. The styling is horrible in all 3 frames, and she is just lifeless. As for being Emmanuele's first cover, though it doesn't hit high marks it's comforting to see he will continue models and uber concept covers.

Love the concept. It reminds me of the Twitter cover. However, the result is rather flat.

Lulu is great but it could be more exciting if it was someone more 'well-known', models who wouldn't appear in an online slideshow e.g. Gisele or one of those supermodels.

Ugh what a letdown, the concept is really similar to the fun January 2012 issue, but this one failed.

However, it's a comfort that Meisel is still shooting covers for VI.

Even though the execution wasn't spot on, I applaud Vogue Italia for their creative minds as far as "themes" for editorials go. Kinda late but I see it as a reference to the age of the internet, where you can live from home if you want with online shopping, online jobs, online dating, VR apparently makes you believe are somewhere so why travel? Crazy that April covers are popping up left and right and we finally get the March issue 🙄

Franca ended her reign with 4 fantastic/iconic Madonna covers, and an amazing editorial by Steven Klein. This new guy begins his tenure with another uninspired cover and editorial by the increasingly tired Steven Meisel.
I hope this is just a minor hiccup.

Glad to see Meisel back, but I don't like this.

I'll take it. I think the cover is weaker than the concept but I still have high hope for the editorial. I wish it was a better model who can bring out some emotions. But at least, this magazine is trying. And I will take this over a boring studio shot with plain boring background any day. Though I was hoping it would be more impactful.

So, I get that it's supposed to be a "commentary" on the whole online shopping thing. But where's the commentary, exactly? They literally just replicated a couple of pictures that you'd find on one of those websites. How is that clever or interesting or original? Why even pay Meisel to do it? Why use an "in" model? May as well have used a nobody model shot by an intern. And if they're not trying to say anything, at least give us some pretty pictures.

Iīm disappointed that this is the cover for this new beginning
but trying to look at it in a more "objective" way, gotta say that Lulu works great with the concept. She seems like a bland, computer generated mannequin.

Iīm really looking forward to the content, wonder if they changed the design at all...
