Ah, I don't like this cover, if you are going to do an Arab theme then use an Arab model, since she is white have her wear something Americans or Westerners can relate to.

^for sure ...
and when you're doing a sexy prostitute sort of theme chose a prostitute ... why prostitutes should not have their chance ???

oh and the theme is VACATIONS in Morocco !!!!!

and it's true a white should wear outfits for whites ... and black outfits for blacks ... what would it be ?

Pipe down, I made that initial comment to tease, because I read a topic over on models.com about lack of ethnics used by top designers, I know they want to make big bucks, but I fail to see how the top designers would lose money by having a few more ethnic faces on the runways, are people going to look at them and say they are not white so that outfit won't look good on me.

With my generation at least where I am in America most young people who are my friends are very open minded, so I fail to see how sales would be lost.

I didn't intend to go off topic, I meant my post as a joke, but I had to because I could tell by your post you were a little heated.

Oh ya, and going by my highschool days, black people would wear Extra Extra large clothes when they are close to my size, that is not how I would dress, since I don't want to look like a walking hanger, even when I buy medium or small shirts from abercrombie they are still a little loose for my liking, but that is my body type for you.

what are you saying about the black people wearing baggy clothes..that has noting to do with your argument about the cover...anyways I like the editorial..who cares if a white model is on the cover Sasha is a popular face Steven enjoys shooting her..when she gets dressed up in these clothes to play a Morrocan woman she is becomming an actress..Actors play roles that are not themselves thats the point of the job

I was joking about the black people wearing baggy clothes only,(that part had nothing to do with the cover), it was a response to berlin about what black people would wear, I have a different sense of humor, which comes across as mean sometimes, but that is how it is.

I don't care what color the model is as long as they have a great look which Sasha does. I was just trying to make a wee bit of fun out of this quote by sounding very narrow minded, which apparently I did because I got a response from you and berlin.

Frida Giannini, the Gucci designer, said after the show, “I think it would be great if there was an industry initiative on this issue, because I am always looking for black models, or even Chinese or whatever, for the shows.”
“I’m after a specific kind of look,” she added, “and I request the agencies — I asked last season — to send me someone interesting. But they never send me anyone very new.”

Full article, you have probably seen before.

My main point is models, regardless of ethnic background, if they have the look can sell anything, which is proven by this very cover.

That may be... but when other people see your posts they aren't going to automatically know that you're joking. There are people here from all over the world... and what you say can be interpreted in many different ways. So you might want to keep in mind when you post that rudeness & disrespect of any kind are not tolerated here.

Thank you.

^^ Ya, I know, I just thought people would look at my profile and see I was black, so they knew I would be joking, plus that is a big stereotype that all black people dress in a way that is a form of hip hop, which I thought would be another hint as to be joking, but I will respond appropriately from now on.
