Love the cover. Vogue Italia always deliver some beautiful images. Pity the written content is always absolutely s***.

...that his work in 2004 (or generally in the past) can be just as appealing by modern standards and it transcends any time period.

Totally, it's so refreshing and appealing in this current/gross over-touched digital age.

VI is producing so many great covers lately. Karen and Edie look effortlessly cool.

Effortlessly cool? Really. I find it to be a 'pretty' shot of two pretty ladies, trying way too hard. Not great at all, in my opinion. But I guess if you miss the old days..

ETA: teaser is good, though.

I just love the cover, it's very organic to me. They both look really great and compliment each other.

Love the listless and gloomy atmosphere of that ed. So the cover and main story are great as always, now what matters is the rest of the eds.
Thanks for the pics, Mat.

The ed is gorgeous, I particularly like the first image and that whole section at the porch in the vid. Karen and Edie complement each other very well in here.

LOL what is with Meisel and having models hold scissors to their hair in editorials?

I really like the editorial (the shot of Edie in the shower is particularly my favorite) but I was expecting something a little more... diverse, I suppose. I don't know why but I just feel let down. It's good but it's not "I'm-willing-to-shell-out-$20-for-this" good.

Thanks for posting Mat.
