Exactly. The average Vogue US reader also won't complain. The average woman in general won't complain.

LOL, so much commotion.

I can't stand her (idk why) but I think the cover is fine. It's obviously yet another take on the whole Marilyn Monroe/Anna Nicole Smith character, but there is something here that makes it relevant to high fashion. Plus, when you consider the awful AWFUL covers VI has been putting out this year, I'll take this.

I'm not the biggest Kate fan, in fact I'm not a fan at all, but I do really like this cover. She looks like a barbie here, so glam it's rather refreshing. Might I add, that I like this cover much better than Candice Swanepoel's one and she's also a commercial model. And well, I feel like Kate is not going anywhere, we might aswell learn to bear with her

I hate how Kate try to be supermodel, I don't understand how you can to compare great models of 90s with ordinary swimwear model. I don't want to see porn, when I see VI cover.

I find it pornographic BUT I know that it's wrong of me to.
Because of the huge double standard. Kate gets her boobs out, it's pornographic.
When Jac, Toni, Frida and Sigrid got their boobs out a few weeks ago in 'What's Contemporary' and were actually naked no one called it pornographic.

For the same reason models can wear revealing runway looks and still look classy, but the moment Kim Kardashian wears it people think it's super slutty.

seriously guys, the porn card?
It won't be porn, even if Kardashian would be on the cover like this.
the whole concept is a little in your face but still sexy and very classy in a retro 90's way
i love how she looks straight at you

It's not as if shes turning up at doors asking to be on the cover, Meisel and Franca obviously contacted her to be on the cover meaning shes wanted to be there and not just trying to score any job she can.

I just love the idea of Meisel and Franca being bullied into this cover by Kate "you will give me a cover damn it!"

Honestly, they selected her as a cover model just like Meghan or Joan have been.

True, but we'll see how long she will be in demand with the influential people. People are already tagging her as a new super model when she's clearly not.

As I said at the beginning of the thread ,the cover is Newtonesque.
Newton was loving strong, tall, curvy, glamazon models (among other things)and I see all of these things on this cover.
