Love her, hate her, she certainly gets everyone chatting.
Personally I think she looks very beautiful and very sexy in a totally non-threatening way. The styling is totally suited to her look and it is just gorgeous.
Compare this to the hideous mess of Natalia on Vogue UK....no contest.

Personally speaking, I think it's the best cover they've done all year.

Kate Upton is such a controversial figure and I really don't understand why? She has big boobs... Like is that really a reason for the massive uproar?

She's beautiful and a seemingly good model. That's enough for me.

Predictable.

This girl is so one note. There are plenty of models and even, dare I say it, celebrities who could have pulled this off as good or better. I don't see why she is so special. She's just the symbol of anti-fashion right now and it stirs up controversy which we all know Meisel and VI love

Kate has done what any other in recent times (including VS Angels like Adriana, Alessandra or SI covergirls like Bar, Irina or Brooklyn Decker) couldn't do: People who are not fashion interested actually know her, they can put a name on the face instead of being another "Yeah the hot blonde girl who does VS/SI". She actually is relevant in the pop culture. That's why she gets covers, because she sells & she'll continue to get covers & dare i say start to get campaigns because people either loves her or hates her, but she gets people talking about her & whatever work she geys & that's exactly what companies/magazines want. Just look at this 8 pages in less than half a day

I'm not saying everyone must like her, but Kate Upton is happening so get use to it

Why does everyone have such a strong hate for Kate? Shes got a curvier figure and breasts but it doesn't stop her from being beautiful.
She looks hella good on this cover and fits the theme extremely well. **EDITED** ...she is now undeserving of a Vogue Italia cover? Meisel has stooped so low because hes working with her? Same with Anna, Carine etc? That is such a stupid thing to say. At first I wasn't a massive fan of Kate but she has grown on me and i'm really hoping she will achieve that Vogue US cover.

I don't find her appealing. I look at this cover and I think Why? Why Her? She might be pretty but I think a handful of other models could have pulled this off much better. To be honest she looks like a hooker....a really cheap one.

Well, one thing is certain. She doesn't go unnoticed and she's able to create discussions like this, is it all about right? And, does it matter is Kate Upton is not Lara Stone or some couture model? Hell no, I don't get what she did wrong. You're overreacting, give her a chance.

My problem with her is mostly the fact that she has the face of a porn star. She makes everything look very gaudy and classless. I just don't see her appeal whatsoever

She looks great.

She does not look like a hooker or any of those derogatory terms people have said here. I don't know what type of hookers you all are getting but hookers don't look like supermodels.

I don't understand why there's always so much hate towards her, after all she's not the one knocking everyone's doors to be on a cover, it is the other way around. People are knocking her door, and after all VI is not the same eminency that it was in the past. The cover is ok-ish but their goal was achieved... Everyone's talking about it
