I'm running out of breath now. Winter's Edge is absolutely beautiful! The nomadic style of approach was perfectly captured. From the styling up to the set design (Kudos to Mary Howard!), all perfect. And I just couldn't be more happier with the epic casting. Like OMG! An Oost, Caroline De Maigret, Delfine Bafort, Emma Balfour and Tanga Moreau on the pages of VI and shot by Meisel! Not that they haven't been shot by Steven before. It's just that it's so good to see these amazing and legendary models working with the genius again aside from Karen, Guinevere and Kirsten. Although how I wish there was more group shot than just one. But what the hell? It's still beautiful. I'll be getting this issue just for this one.
A Singular Style with Saskia by Roversi looks promising as well.
The casting in 'Winter's Edge' is totally sublime and I didn't expect to see so many of his old favourites, with Gail O'Niell a special thrill.
I really wish there were more group shots as I get the vibe that they are living in some cold, remote commune, but because there are mainly solo shots, it seems that they all might be living alone.
Anyhow the message is loud and clear and the video is lovely.
