Great to see Miranda. It is a bit average, but I do love that the 3D element was thrown in...It has been done elsewhere already, but it would still be a final attempt to bring VI print into the "future"

i don't really know what to say. i hate 3D...i just hope they don't do it again.

edit: after seeing the video, i think it's going to be a good ed. i love the clothes!

there's nothing vogue about the cover. it should have been a cover for dog's magazine featuring a cute girl.

so disappointed it is a september cover. this is the worst september cover of the year. then again, i dotn think miranda can be edgy enough for a fashion magazine , let's alone a fashion bible.

Steven Miesel seems stuck in the 80's/early 90's. This looks like something Cindy Crawford would have done back in the day....only her eyes would have been more piercing.

The dog is cute and all, but on the cover it is eye-rollingly gimmicky, other than that Miranda looks be-YOOOO-ti-FULL! My initial reaction was "very pretty but meh," well actually that was my second reaction after the cute doggie eye roll, but there is something arresting about it and I want to keep looking at it and coming back to it, so it has transcended the typical pretty girl cover, well at least for me it has. Furthermore, I am sooo over VI's pretentious, B&W / sepia / smoky covers and eds - I accept it as their signature and don't want it to totally go away, but its constancy was driving me nuts and it is refreshing to see something different, I hope the ed follows the same path.

Miranda is beautiful, the Prada is beautiful, the dog is adorable, but somehow... the elements don't really come together for me. It just looks kind of random to me.

She looks so cute on the cover, and the inside pics seem to be quite good.

If I subscribed to VI I might be disappointed though because the images are usually more challenging and creative than what we see here. Not a fan of 3-d in magazines; I want to be able to see the images without special equipment, so 3-D is quite limiting in some ways.

Miranda looks very nice on the cover but I couldn't help but feel deflated when I saw this. I'm very surprised that Vogue Italia hasn't already jumped on the 3D bandwagon but I can't say I'm impressed that that will be the draw for this issue. I'm assuming the point of "Vision of Femininity" + Miranda Kerr + 3D = admiring feminine "assets," so to speak? This could be interesting...

I used to be excited about Miranda's transition to high fashion, but after the previews I'm much more looking forward to the other content.

Just browsed through some of the Vogue Italia threads here. Vogue Italia has had simple covers but they`re usually edgy, fierce, striking and more fashion. But this is simple and nothing else. Cute cover but not promoting fashion when you look at it.

Steven Meisel needs some new inspiration.
