I've come not to expect too much from VI because how awful it's become lately, but this is not bad. At the very least, it's a step up from last month's cover. It's not a terribly new idea, it's been done before, but it's executed pretty nicely. Carolyn's lips/mouth look kind of strange though.

I read VI September 2012 and clicked on the title but then I saw Carolyn´s name and thought this is not the new issue but then I saw that it is! LOL how wonderful to see her on the cover
It has a Tim Walker vibe doesn´t it?

I just realized she is looking at her own reflection lol But the cover is just okay to me. I don't mind Meisel working with his normal muses but he seriously needs to incorporate current supermodels instead of the new random girl, muse, random girl, muse again routine.

I love how her face really blends in with the mannequins yet stands out. I feel this is gonna be a pretty good issue.

omg carolyn looks so flawless! but i was rooting for mariacarla and sasha to be on the cover & they would have a fifty paged editorial with their babies lol!!! but this cover is way better than the previous covers that meisel has offered this year!

The cover is quite quirky and strange, though I mostly like it because it's got Carolyn Murphy. Hopefully, the editorials will be good.

Love the choice of Carolyn for something off-beat like the use of mannequins. It surprised me that there's a vintage feel but it works.

Glad that she`s on the cover again! It looks very vintage Vogue Italia too me (Which I love so dearly)! I really like this. It makes up to the huge mistake of last month`s. Welcome back VI

Although I`m finding it hard to link the Main editorial with the cover...
