I called the cover Vogue Taiwan-ish and it is but it is really, really cute and eye-catching! If I am the editor of Vogue Mexico, and regardless of whatever other faults the magazine has, the smart thing to do is to pick the cover that is going to get attention and hopefully sell in your market. The Vogue Mexico EIC should not give a rip if the model has done that same post on twenty other covers outside of her country as long as it is a fresh cover to the people she is targeting. Of course I know that there are folks in Mexico who have seen the other cover, but my guess is that that number is negligible.

They should definitely keep using models but how about models that are more.. Mexican? Sure, Mexico has white blonde pale girls, but why are they using Hana S? Anja Rubik? At least use Daniela de Jesus or something...

My thoughts exactly when it comes to the reprints.I'm not exactly happy with that but I think it's okay. The point of the magazine is to entertain the readers and I'm sure not eveyone buys all the existent vogues and knows that everything is a reprint from some other vogue.I mean at least not their market (young, middle aged women, etc) but if you're either a tfs member or a fashionista you might known.Idk my point is that the magazine does what it has to do,which is entertain. and their covers are pretty catchy better than US vogue covers, imo.

I don't know about this I guess they use models that sell (?) a vogue cover with Daniela or with Liliana would make a pretty good cover but I'm not sure if I'd sell manly because not many people know them and because they reprint it to latinoamerica so chances are fewer people would buy it.They don't always look tall, skinny, blondes with blue eyes, though. (Ie. Coco Rocha,Ali Michael,Alessandra Ambrosio,Isabeli Fontana,Diana Dondoe,Anne Hathaway..)
