Her expression in the first pic is so bad, her mouth looks like one of a bulldog, extending her lower jaw.
The color scheme makes the covers look very dated/old in not a good way.

Love the blue in 'Vogue'. This magazine it's very artsy, for my is one of the new big four (Ukraine, Australia and maybe Germany).

I prefer the foldout, everything works better imo.

This issue is inspired in the 40's, but the retro-future twist in this covers is bad

Super busy backgrounds like this don't work as covers.

Long time no see from MT! Weird place to turn up again though...and slightly odd covers. I kind of like the ambitious direction. First one is awkward, second one better.

I think Vogue Mexico has to be the least artsy of them all, second maybe to India.

I buy it every month! You should see the inside. Beautiful layout, very sophisticated. I wish I could scan an entire issue. It's very beautiful. And they still using models for the covers. Cheek it here: https://models.com/client/vogue-mexico/Editorial/all Also there are lots of articles about art (painting and sculptures, photography, exhibitions, theater and cinema)

What a let-down! These are not covershots. There's too much of everything here. Imposing set, excessive styling, OTT hair and make-up.....and then you get to the model. Not what I expected from Thompson.

The first cover is not my taste but I like the second one. It's kind of intriguing actually.
