I don't believe so. Being on the cover of a Magazine like Vogue Paris just helps with PR. Of Course Vogue has to give the celebrity the accommodations they ask for while shooting. Like certain food the actor wants, or specific hair and make up teams.

My thoughts on the issue itself, it seems rather boring for Vogue Paris. I hope it has more to offer than what I have seen so far. The only thing going for it right now is Eniko's editorial, and the lovely cover.

What's so hard to understand? Girls don't do editorial for money! Getting editorials and covers of French Vogue for example, drives up your rate for everything else and gets you noticed by the huge money clients like Lancome and Estee Lauder. Simple. Editorials and covers are the path towards the real money.

Thanks for the excellent info Betty I knew they didn't get much for editorial... but I thought it was at least $200 a day by now

no prob MMA! Actually Conde Nast doesn't have to pay anything, I don't even know why they do. But I suppose for all those male models who do Details and GQ and who don't make anywhere near the money of the big girls, it puts a little bit of money in the bank for them

Also, fyi, Anna Sui pays in clothes only, which makes sense as she's not a huge corporation. She gets all the top girls because a- they love her clothes and b-it's super prestigious to do her show (cause she's close friends with all the right people

Sorry, I'm so off topic, will let everyone get back to the issue at hand.

What happened to Linda's “I don't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day."?

ok i just loveeee scarlett's cover but inside is not so great as usuall. I mean ymre is so boring, the same expression on each shot ( i know that the vibe is like old dutch cottage - harsh and hard working but it doesn't mean that you can't work your facem just a little ). And malgosia ed is kind of ..well cheap for me. Don't know why - styling, clothes, shots ? either way i feel what i feel.

Carine Roitfield has such an eye and I love her for it! If I saw this magazine in the stands behind other mags and couldn't read Scarlett's name, I would recognize the face but I wouldn't be quite sure. And out of curiosity, I would grab this magazine just to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

The fonts, the colors, the pose, even the celeb. A GREAT cover!

If Ymre does 150 a day, that's why they used her, cause she's cheap. 150 is nothing, Thanks for proving my point betty.

^ You obviously missed Betty's point, all new girls get paid $150 a day, but established girls don't get paid much more... So it would have been roughly the same price to get Natasha Poly or Gisele... Girls do editorial for exposure, which leads to money opportunities... Magazines like Vogue Paris can have whoever they want, they can live without a particular model but models can hardly live without them...

Nope I understood Betty perfectly. There is a difference between 150 for Ymre and 250 for Gisele, and money that can be saved is important for a magazine. I hope you didn't waste your time explaining it though
