I don't really associate Daria with glamour per se, more laid back effortless glamour like Erin Wasson. This cover could have definately worked with say Raquel or Hilary, it could work in theory but the casting isn't quite right.

and yeah about the glamour thing i agree. it's discouraging at times how *they* mis-use daria. i don't understand this ostination in wasting her postmodeling peculiarity.

i have to say though, i don't love the cover...
daria looks great from the neck down...the hair and makeup are too harsh imo...

Anna's ed it looks like something we can find in Jalouse not Vogue, but the girl is so pretty and fresh that I guess it compensates.

I love the cover, The ed to me is a bit boring.

i love the cover but now that you mentioned hilary (i can't stand raquel though) i think she would be fantastic. even better than daria, who i think surprisingly suited this look, because i don't usually associate her with glamour either... i don't know why but i'd love to see mariacarla on this cover too. some people will probably think she'd be completely innapropriate but for some reason i'd love it to death. and maybe the same styling but shot by terry richardson?... anyway... can't wait to see kate's ed.

maybe they forgot, but same wild things with same poses were in sept 2007 issue again with Daria again by Inez and Vinoodh but it was shot in Grand Сanyon (if im not wrong) Daria is the same everywhere.

Daria by Inez & Vinoodh is always a hit for me... I'm in love with this cover, it's perfect!

It's nice that I&V shot two eds in this issue and I like the girls inside the mag, save for Anna... I loved her when I first noticed her but her ed is really bad, and the more I look at pictures of her, the more I'm sick of her...
