Ah, thanks ! I can't wait to get this issue!

And for everyone in the U.S. who is wondering if it the magazine comes with a calendar, for the past two years, I have bought the holiday issue at Barnes and Noble and it has come with the calendar, so good chances are, if you buy your issue at Barnes and Noble, it will come with a calendar.

i can assure you that not only boys think that of the tour eiffel. (remember those kiki de montparnasse panties last year? a rather blatant reference) - not saying it's an obvious thing to think, of course...
and yes, there is this kind of 'tradition' of sexy calendars... i like how tasteful this one is, as well as the 2007/2008 one. i wouldn't mind a sexy calendar with men though... something like that super-models ed shot by slimane for vogue hommes... with less clothes, maybe... but it wouldn't fit vogue paris i guess.

I can DEFINITELY see that as being the inspiration. I think many strip clubs in general have adopted the whole fluorescent flashing lights bit. There is something trashy and erotic about neon lights !

Thanks for posting the image BerlinRocks !

The Eiffel Tower looks nothing like (as said in Irish slang) a big lad! The Leaning Tower of Pisa - in terms of angle and girth - looks like a big lad. This English water tower looks like a big lad. La Tour Eiffel, non. It's artful scaffolding which tapers to what I would perceive to be a very disappointingly thin and pointy end. But if it's the best phallic interpretation the French can offer... (dailymail.co.uk)

The tower/phallic discussion is more interesting than the contents of this issue imho

I think Carine would be proud that this issue has provoked a discussion about phallocentric architecture.

^! I'm sure she would too! And Melanie Huynh too, judging from the image she styled of Bianca Balti tonguing the Eiffel Tower !

And she can also pride herself of making all men and women drool over the nun, not for her jewelery. And, I do feel this is a decent issue because of the "Flesh" focus...everywhere you look there's a deriere that looks like one, thighs with psychedelic glows that at least lead to an impression of health (The Calendar). And the bosom queens of course. It's a different type of sex. The kind I've been wanting in my mags for years, honestly.

The idea that sadly, but predictable, pervaded the late 90s and most of it's sexually perverted successor, was that slimy, bronzed, bended-over, half-adonis, half-Heffner chick, disguised as high fashion by uberslenderness provided by the kind of legs that are just out of Hugh Heffners league.

The epitaph of this decade is, simply, that battle between two evils - the bronzed vamps modeling fashions Paris Hilton wears - and the pale, ubersvelte, and sometimes inspiring Eastern models who are so beautiful but does lead ones mind to exploitation.

Not sure, his slim dimensions fit her huge mouth that well....So I'm still in favour of the tiny sturdy tower tigerrouge posted But as an accessory, the Eiffel tower carries a lot of weight...slim and frail as it is. So many connections to his narrow little body.
