It's on stands in New York. Bought it on Friday...it's an OK issue. Was a little underwhelmed. The Sims story is beautiful but short. The Terry is pretty hilarious and well done. Overall it feels like the entire affair required much less of Galliano than say, Sofia Coppola, who it felt like really opened up her photo albums and lifestyle to being photographed.

American issues don't have the calendar either. Must be just a French thing.

I really wanted to get the calender! It's so sad for me that it's only available in France.

I can't wait to get this!

According to models.com Alexandra Tomlinson is the model in the David Sims editorial.

& tiny versions of calendar-o-Karen are up at her DNA portfolio under "highlights" - only June is missing.

Bought it this morning on my way to work - opted for the 'black' cover and no calendar came with it.

On first flick-through, I was rather underwhelmed by the issue, especially considering the content has to last us two months til the next issue... but I know why I'm being so hard on it. It doesn't feel like Galliano had a creative hand in this issue, it feels more that this is an issue put together around the theme of Galliano, and he just turned up for a few hours one afternoon and nodded his head at some of the ideas, and didn't really have much to do with it directly. That is my feeling - and I had different expectations. If I can start viewing it as an ordinary issue of French Vogue, I'll start being impressed by some of the stuff inside.

And Coco need not worry about that editorial - I'd got the impression that it had a theme of being possessed by spirits, before I'd even read the intro that spoke about 'exorcising demons' with the elements. It's more about the force of life than something tacky.
