Karmen's and Raquel's editorials are mediocre at best. Numéro does the dark editorials with Karmen so much better than this. And Raquel's ed would probably have been slightly more exciting if they had used Aymeline Valade or someone else that we haven't seen a million times in Sims' boring studio eds before.
Raquel's ed is not bad. But I feel like I've seen this type ed a million times already.

Aline's and karmen's ed are perfection.
Raquel's and Arizona are okay.
Sasha's do nothing for me.
BTW who's the other girl in Giampalo Sgura's " En Scene"???

The cover and all the editorials so far are immensely underwhelming. I don't find them has heinous as some people do, but they are incredibly boring and unoriginal.
Well Alt has produced a quintessential Roitfeld issue - a strong and impactful cover with mediocre contents. My question is why even do a music themed issue when every issue has music / rock-inspired eds as that is Alt's thing.
More Than A Woman (Arizona Muse by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and Emanuelle Alt) - There is nothing new here, but it is still a strong ed - Arizona really brought it.
Let's Dance (Sasha Pivovarova by Terry Richardson and Marie Chaix) - There are a couple of good images like Sasha sitting on the steps, but overall she looks so bored and over it and not in a good way. The styling is meh - the set is nice but expected given the theme.
En Scene (Aline Weber and Shannan Click by Giampalo Sgura and Geraldine Saglio) - Nice but nothing special especially for an issue of VP, but at least it was not 10+ pages of nothing special.
Queen of Noise (Raquel Zimmermann by David Sims and Emanuelle Alt) - Same ish, different wig. I personally like the styling but it is still same old - same old.
Last Night (Karmen Pedaru by Hedi Silmane and Melanie Ward) - Despite its one-note-ness, I think that this is one of the better eds in the issue.
I love Raquel's editorial! The styling isn't the best, but the result was great. The red background shot is my favorite (guess I have a new wallpaper ). Last Night is also amazing! I love everything, even the hairstyle.
Such utter garbage in this issue. Everything is over stylized and generic looking. I thought Kate's cover was terrible but it's nothing compared to the content. In regards to Karmen's editorial, they could have just put a wig on a mannequin if they were only going to end up shooting it in the exact same pose six times. ALT has wasted no time destroying this magazine.
