Nepotism Wenner is worthless, nothing special about that editorial at all. Geeze, Vogue Paris is becoming such a joke and so generic. And seriously, did the world need another Bowie fashion inspired cover or editorial?

I'm more disturbed by the fact that Ciara is listed alongside David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, Debbie Harry and Lou Reed.

I'm glad Toni has an ed, but the cover leaves a lot to be desired.

Love this cover! Although I love her UK Bowie cover a little more.

So Kate get's dressed up as David Bowie... again. How original. Out of the two Kate Moss as David Bowie covers I prefer the British Vogue cover. That one I think is pretty iconic. Since it's the music issue, why not have an actual musician on the cover... Janelle or Debbie Harry would have been more interesting and unexpected of Vogue Paris.

review:

Cover: Kate Moss by Mert & Marcus
styled by Alt

Warning: No kate moss editorial)

new ad- Hugo Boss s/s 2012 Looks like Angela Lindvall, but she`s in sunglaces so i am not sure, reminds s/s 2011 campaign.

Cadeaux (13 pictures)

Models: Bianca Balti and one black model, don`t know her name
photographer: Giampaolo Sgura
styled: Geraldine Saglio

typical "funny" kind of Sgura shots on white background and rich dumb emotions on faces.

Promotion Vogue: Au temps pour soi (6 pics)

Model: unk blonde
photographer: Claudia Knoepfel & Stefan Indlekofer
Styled: Veronique Didry

Bijoux: fans (6 b/w pics)

Models: various , Valerija Kelava ?
photographer: Claudia Knoepfel & Stefan Indlekofer
styled: Capucine Safyurthi

Crowd in excitement.

Baute: En Scene (4 pics)

Models: Shannan Click, Aline Veber
photographer: Giampaolo Sgura
styled: Geraldine Saglio

3 shannan images in different wigs, one Aline Weber a-la calssic Hollywood blonde.

Miss Vogue: Made in USA (7 pics)

Models: Toni Garrn, Kendra Spears
photographer: Theo Venner
styled: Veronique Didry

More than a woman (13 pics)

Model: Arizona Muse
photographer: Inez & Vinoodh
styled: Emmanuelle Alt

typical Alt tasteless rock-star -retro styling. All in white and gold. Heavy Make-up a-la Bowie, white, green and red background. Studio shot.

Idoles part I (8 pics)

Debbie Harry, Janelle Monae, Sheila E., Kim Gordon, Bryan Ferry, Sky Ferreira, Antony Hegarty
photographer: Inez & Vinoodh
styled: Emmanuelle Alt

Mostly b/w typical I& V studio portraits photoshoot. Most of these names are absolutely unfamiliar to me...`idoles` uhum)))

Queen of noise (11 pics)

Model: Raquel Zimmermann in black wig, maybe another girl
photographer: IDavid Sims
styled: Emmanuelle Alt

Mostly studio, but partly location shoot in hats, with semi-lenght black hair and fringe (freja-esque hairstyle), i haven`t recognize Raquel from first sight (perhaps, there is another girls and that`s the reason). Reminds pretty much Freja by Inez & Vinoodh in may 2011 VP issue

Idoles part II ( 10 pics)

Model: Kanye West, Boy George, Michael Stipe, Ciara, Baxter Dury, Lulu Gainsburg, Emma Browning, Etienne Daho, The half sisters, Nicolas Jaar
photographer: IDavid Sims
styled: Emmanuelle Alt

Typical b/w sims portraits stuff. Very strange arrange of names actually, especially Nicolas Jaar- i was very surprised seeing him here...Each performer got an article.

Last Night ( 9 pics)

Model: Karmen Pedaru,
photographer: Hedi Slimane
styled: Melanie Ward

Very dark (colour, not mood)), dancing shadows louver shutter studio shoot (technique reminds me Solve Sundsbo work)

Let`s dance ( 10 pics)

Model: Sasha Pivovarova,
photographer: Terry Richardson
styled: Marie Chaix

reminds very much recent Terry ed with Poly. taken in oldschood NYC nightclub. Sasha supposed to play stage dancer, shot near black exits, stage doors, on the stage, on stairs.

Idoles part III ( 10 pics)

Le Prince charles, Francoise Hardy, Hanni El Khatib, Lenny Kravitz, Anna Calvi
photographer: Karim Sadli
styled: Geraldine Saglio & Veronique Didry

yet again b/w simple studio shot yet again very strange arrangement...

Verdiсt: only 4 models editorial, poor and same bland content. And Vogue really turned into something pre- Roitfeld- JJb era: no cover editorial inside, maybe lack of money?

Couldn't check tFS whole day and I've just seen the cover that disappointed me.
I love Kate Moss, but not that kind of styling. It's memorable cover but not my thing, but I'm happy Kate is on the cover again.
Review doesn't excite me as well, Emmanuelle styled 4 eds: 2 with I&V and 2 with Sims, that must be something we have seen million times already. Thanks for the review ASF.

Thanks for the review, ASF.

I don't mind seeing Karmen and Sasha again, but do wish Alt wouldn't use Arizona as much. I'm yet to "get" the appeal of the girl.

Kate looks like MCB sans eyebrows on the cover. Contents are boring me to tears already.

0 issue of VP for me in 2011.

Thanks for the review ASF. How many pages does this issue have?
The sound of the eds alone is enough to put me to sleep....

I'm sure both I&V eds will be good, but I can't say I'm excited by the contents.

Absolutely horrible cover. I'm a huge fan of VP, but this is stretching my faith a bit too far.
Kanye West!? Ciara?! Gosh, I cannot get over how bad this cover is, it's even more glaring for the fact that besides being totally unoriginal, it's beyond bad next to the British "Bowie" cover.

im tired of miss moss. she is everywhere. nothing can slow her down. she needs to take a break from the industry. however, i think i like the cover bc its not a typical fashion cover.

miss moss, she always end up with all the majored covers. miss moss, do u mind to give other girls a chance to shine for once?
