Carla looks very striking on the cover. But I must agree with many of the other comments, denim on the cover two months in a row is boring. If they wanted to go with a relaxed style for the cover it doesn't have to automatically mean denim!

You say that, but if there were no happy advertisers or good sales, there wouldn't be a Vogue Paris for anybody to critique or love

I think she looks gorgeous on the cover, but it seems like an inside editorial shot not a cover, its not striking enough for a cover shot. Hopefully t he contents are more exciting.

Very random, but were Daria W and Doutzen Kroes the only VP cover stars this year that were younger than 30?
Lara as well. And Natalia at the time her cover came out.

Alt makes tributes to her own, uninspired style, so I'm honestly not surprised about the denim shirt, cause it is probably what Alt's going to wear on New Year's Eve . Semi tucked. With boots and skinny jeans of course.

Carla looks lovely, and energetic, like there's life politics... at least for her.

Cover is underwhelming, but Carla is beautiful, even though airbrushed to the ends of the earth and then some. The denim shirt is just tedious already. Looking forward to the contents.

Actually, it's also wrong in that Grace Mirabella's stint at Vogue was incredibly successful, not just financially but mostly from an artistic perspective....definitely rivaling Diana's, actually.

If so, I'd respect Alt for that, I'm so tired of an infantile fashion world where everyone is supposed to yearn after the look of an eternal teenager. I'm sure the promotion of the impossible is great for the profit margin of face creams, but it does nothing for me.

The cover doesn't feel very December-ish but it's still really good. First time Carla Bruni stuns me like that in a loooooooooooooong time. She's indeed a surprising choice but in the same I felt like it'd happend sooner or later, since she's a good friend of Emmanuelle Alt and basically one of the best cover material for the French audience.
