I really like Christy's editorial, she's one of the few "supermodels" I enjoy seeing.

I don't understand all the love this issue is getting. Even though the model choices are interesting, the issue is basically full of a bunch of boring studio shoots. It's like Emmanuelle knew she had great models in the issue, so she felt she didn't need to actually do anything interesting with them. And that Malgosia editorial has been played out by VP. Jessica Miller was in a similar shoot for VP years ago.

I got what you meant. Jessica Miller's ed was in March 2007 issue and the inspiration behind that ed was Jane Birkin I believe. Obviously Malgosia's ed is inspired by Carla Bruni. However, these two eds are so similar indeed.

I flipped through the issue on zinio and nothing caught my eye. Carla's Mert & marucs ed is fine and so is Christy's but other than that it's a mediocre issue. I also finally pinpointed what bothers me with Vogue Paris aside from the design: the clothes. When I look through Vogue Paris I don't get the sense I enjoy fashion and that I see amazing clothes because everything is leather jackets, jeans and mini dresses. I hope in the future Emmanuelle will produce something along the lines of September, now that was an issue of Vogue Paris.
