This has a whiff of Vogue US that is terribly off putting. Daria looks stunning though.

They all look fabulous. But the only trouble with this for me is that Daria was on the Sept. Vogue, as was Kate. Emmanuelle is not creative with Vogue Paris. It's not the same as Carine Roitfeld's VP was. I havent bought one since the Laetitia Casta one. But I didnt even read it because when I flipped through the issue it was all just black and white and boring. I think this cover is lovely, but I don't know. Something about Stephanie Seymour bugs the crap out of me. Probably her kids...

The cover is very 90's & reminds me for a Vogue Italia for that decade with the background.

Great to see these women on one cover, is very simple & ok, the only problem is the Daria's pose, she looks uncomfortable posing with Step & Lauren, maybe Daria was tired or something like that, well in the end is an great cover.

Excited about the casting of this issue & can't wait to see for the results of the eds.

to all those people complaining about the clothes choice here: no matter you like it or not, i guess the simple and identic clothes on the cover are part of the concept, aren't they? its a special issue focusing on beauty and age, that just would not have worked just as well with models wearing different clothes or dominant dresses from which you can immediately tell which designer is featured (as usual).

i, personally, join the positive comments: i LOVE the simplicity and cast, indeed iconic.

If you're going to do a gimmick cover (i.e. iconic models all dressed the same) then you should go big. This falls completely flat.

US Vogue's 100th anniversary issue got it right.

^that's a special issue so they need all the gimmick they could think off while this issue of VP is just a typical vp issue with a theme

just happy to see stephanie on a vogue cover again. and thats not fair or very accurate to compare her career to a tv personalities..anyways shes always been a fave of i&v just stopped modeling for personal reasons not bc shes irrelevant. than the same can be said for lauren no? relevancy is irrelevant to modeling icons.

ou est le vavavoom?
The background and very plain overall composition/font makes me think immediately of Vogue US, not a good thing....

Shame as I really love their faces/expressions. But Vogue Paris should not remind me of Vogue US. The artistic vavavoum is not there. Hopefully it is to be found inside.
Stephanie last 2 editorials for ID and Vogue Hommes proved that she certainly has plenty of vavavoom and inspires photographers still.
