I can't help but think about the May 2013 cover with Sharam Diniz when I see this, it's so similar. A model of colour on a grey background with a black, white, blue and red colour scheme.

GREAT model choice! I LOVE MARIA!
But this Vogue team is so uninspired and uninspiring! Vogue Portugal needs a huge change! There's always something off, they don't get it right, ever! They could shot Maria by Cuneyt walking around Lisbon in great clothes! Or in Sintra, one of the most beautiful places in the world!

We (here in Portugal) have the best places in the world according to Conde Nast and many other highly awarded and known publications, as well as New York Times, so many applaud Portugal for our great and diverse country, and Vogue Portugal always do such borings studio shoots, if you want a great studio shoot hire ... David Sims!

When it's not a studio shoot, it's a reprint, and when it isn't a reprint and also not a studio shoot, it isn't shot in Portugal, it's in Paris instead...this magazine doesn't come across with their vision of the portuguese women, so many years have gone by and they still don't have a distinct image, and still can't differentiate themselves as Vogue Portugal, because when I see any good Vogue I always know from where it's from just by the cover shot...and this is just plane boring

I also actually like the styling, love Maria and her pose, but the text, colour and everything else on the cover feels off... If they had chosen maybe a dark purple or burgundy combined with black it would have been better considering the mood of the picture.
