Really? I get pretty tired of it...there must be so many models that are being discovered in similar circumstances...only the contrast for them is not as overwhelming since most of them don't marry nobiliy. The whole thing is just really silly....

I was just being sarcastic it is tiring to hear about it over and over again but at the same time I always welcome seeing an article about a model in a big magazine. It is very silly but I try to look at it as part of a very concentrated push to make Natalia well known to the general public. The story is old and not that out of the ordinary but I like seeing it because its Vogue's attempt (or Conde Nast's attempt in general since they did it in Vanity Fair too) to build a star. As much as we all know Natalia she isn't as well known as say Gisele just yet and having an interview along with her photos will help more people know her. Vogue should find a different angle though, something new. Its been years and Natalia has other interesting facets to her personality.

Ah, well, I think it's a hopeless case. They should try someone new - Doutzen, Georgia or Vlada, fi. There is a reason, whatever it is, that Natalia is still not a total superstar. She just doesn't appeal to people on that level, I don't think. I could be wrong

^I agree. She's too high-fashion for the general public. It took me years to realize she has some appeal.
