Thanks for the pix ASF. Fantastic eds The Bourdinesque ed is gorgeous It's like a cross indeed between Bourdin's colors, and in the 2nd pic perspective, and his tradmark choice of make-up (in the latter part of the 70s) and Newton's preference for slick hair and geometric correlations (1st pic especially). I would say that they nail the Bourdin similarity more than the Newton similarity, but then Newton seems to be very hard to copy successfully. So while the first pic is very Newton and the second very Bourdin, the close-ups aren't so much either (except the Bourdin colors) because there's something rather forgiving and intimate about these two shots, which IMO is dissimilar from the masters.
The Sasha ed is also fab - this ed is the best Balenciaga tribute thus far and it is ridiculous that they couldn't have given her the cover. It's almost like they're afraid to create another iconic model.
The cover and the shot of Sasha in the white Balenciaga bowleroid are the first two pictures with aforementioned bowleroid that I like.
I am so sick of the balenciaga collection already and it's not even autumn. Oh...
my guess is that they're trying to get as much editorial coverage as possible. they want to be profitable for more than one season...
do you guys think the atelier made more than the standard two sets of samples..

Sorry to ask again, but can anyone scan the William and Harry article? I've been looking for this mag EVERYWHERE, but no place around here seems to have it!
