I'm just stunned by how quick Joan's fame grew, but I knew she would do well since her excellent campaign numbers for S/S 2011.

I am equally proud of Karlie too, who is still ONLY 20.

I don't understand how anyone can like these, they completely Barbie-d the girls, they look nothing like themselves. So much for embracing individuality and differences these days -- matching hair, matching skintones... what!?! Why?!?

My only problem with Karlies cover is that she looks orange, other than that I like it.

Please tell me both will be new stand covers? Can anyone confirm?

The Joan cover is the one that we saw and I think most newsstands will likely carry more copies of that cover. We think Karlie's cover is for subscribers, but FSR and I will find out more in the next few days if it is indeed the case.

Both covers are nice enough, but the main editorial is a major opportunity wasted. Nuff said about it, as other members have said exactly what I think about it anyhow.

Karlie's cover is very bland. The hair overpowers her, and that pout really bothers me. I hope I'll get Joan's.

I knew Naomi by Emma Summerton wouldn't disappoint she looks amazing.

A little too much "attitude" on the cover, but Karlie does look great. Both cover actually are pretty amazing. Love love love the close-ups!

I'm so happy Joan's got a cover, I don't see the Tyra thing, if anything I see Beyonce mixed with Jennifer Lopez.

Two of the worst covers I've seen this year. Horrible. I wish they had taken a look at Joan's Vogue Australia cover or Karlie's Russh cover.. that's what these women are about!, why trying to change them into a stereotype of 'bombshells'?? like their natural looks just won't allow them to. And seriously, making Karlie seem like she has an upper lip looks just so.. tranny. I thought we had moved past those 'beauty' tricks in the early 90s.

Quite disappointed at karlie's cover really, I expected more. Naomi's editorial is alright.

Equally terrible covers with equally confusing expressions and equally dark skin...scratch that, Karlie actually looks a bit darker than Joan. What a joke.
