This is such a huge deal for Joan. Clearly, she is Meisel's new favorite. Though the cover does not do a single thing for me. I'm not saying that it's bad or awful, whatever. It doesn't just excite me at all. And she even looks like Beyonce before you click the image in its HQ size.

So excited to see her ed,. though with Karlie as well as McDean's and Summerton's with Naomi.

WHOA...Naomi shot by Emma!!! OMG this is like a must have.. This is really MAJOR, for Joan to be pegged as THE NEW FACE OF FASHION and to think of everything she has accomplished in her career so far and to be a ethnic model makes this so special! this cover is MAGIC. i think she is utterly captivating here. she's definitely styled to resemble Tyra c. 1990s, but that's what the cover is aiming for. "Masculine Meets Feminine + Big Sexy Hair". She looks like a complete supermodel and has one of the most incredible faces i've ever seen. breathtaking.

Looking forward to Karlie's cover, especially since that first shot of her is glam defined. They both look good in the edit, but that super blonde is not Joan's color; don't know why they went that direction.

This is a Meisel classic. I just love when he does this type of studio shots.
They look just SO good. I dont really like Joan but somehow she always look good in Meisels hands.
This is hands down the surprise of the year so far!
