I like the fact that you can see the wrinkles and lines on his face. It made me actually stop and look at the image, rather than just glance at it.

I think it's a beautiful shot, and great that W have portrayed him the way that he is.
It's funny that we get so shocked by seeing him starting to look his age. I forgot how old he is now.
The same thing happened when I saw 'Yes Man' the other day. I was shocked at how old Jim Carrey is looking.

Aside from that, I do agree that Brangelina have had their fair share of W covers. W has been REALLY boring with their last few cover subjects...I haven't been wowed by one for a while.

yeah totally. i like the concept, but i don't find brad pitt attractive/interesting anymore. he seems to be one of the very few men who doesn't look hotter in their 40s... i think he looks terrible on the cover and in the inside shots, actually.

I agree. I love the complete lack of vanity in these pictures. He looks very aged but I think they are very interesting (this coming from someone who usually finds him bland).
I don't actually mind him on the February cover since January is award season and this is their Hollywood centric issue. It is far more opportune and sensible than actors on the cover the rest of the year.
