it seems as though both W and people have become official brangelina publications now...

I want W to be about fashion, not celebrity. Love Brad, but this is why we have Vanity Fair, GQ, Esquire, Rolling Stone, etc...

i like this different approach to the cover. I love that it relates to his current movie out..and also I love that W commissioned Chuck Close to do it.

agreed With CharlottefromCA...Angelina was recently on the cover too...I don't get the hipe about them they're so boring to me....

It's a nice shot but I can't help but think in Tom's T cover + Viggo's Another man cover, and what's up with this old looks it works quite well but were in 2009 already...I'm sure they can came up with something new..or no..???

I don't mind a celeb on the cover every now and then but please choose someone more interesting...I dream about the wonders that would be possible with someone like Tilda S for example

and thanks for the thread

^^Tilda would be amazing, I agree. I preferred Brad's last W cover ten years ago when he was muscular, raunchy and promoting "Fight Club" and naked in a lot of the pics inside.

Still though, thank you lucy for posting these. JustJared's blog bores me to death.

Ahhh, when I saw Chuck Close I was so excited, but then... Wish it was in his signature collage style!

This is so frustrating. W just seems to be fellating Brad Pitt's artistic delusions. He is simply a very rich man who seems to own a lot of Taschen books. He needs to stop being put with art.

And this is the second Brangelina W cover that has NOTHING to do with fashion. What has happened to this magazine.

Goddammit already! Am I the only one who feels like if I have to see or hear about him or Angelina one more time I may spontaneously combust? When a womens fashion mag, and arguably one of the few good women's fashion mags in the US at that, puts Brad effing Pitt on a cover I have to ask, WTF?

It's not even like he looks good, and whether that's the photos, aging poorly, or just a general feeling that any sex appeal he may have once had has been drained away and locked in a vial by Angie, I cannot say for sure. But I will say this, Brad is pretty low on my list of 40-something actors I want to see on a magazine cover.

Wake me when they put someone worthwhile on the cover.

I know I'm posting a lot here but sorry I can't stop...

Isn't the cover shot very similar to the one of the TCCOBB poster??? how un-creattive.....and now that I think of it....how W dare to do it...I know he's in the cover to promote the movie but a similar shot is too much imho.

Fear not. From what I've heard the content more than makes up for the cover. So excited to get my hands on this issue!
