I love this. Linda looks beautiful, the backdrop is interesting, and it has a message. W always claims to be an art-related magazine, so it's great to see them actually push some sort of boundaries that don't involve Ginnifer Goodwin in bondage

I agree that is not a traditional cover shot, but that is what makes it more the compelling and interesting to look at. Linda looks like a mannequin, a mannequin who can give LOTS of emotion. My eyes go directly to her eyes and expression and never really leave. She looks so sad and distraught. Her eyes say a thousand words, in addition to the words she is holding in her hands. Also, looking more at the image, the business man behind her and the security guard next to her become more and more evident. They are just as much a part of the image as Linda is, because in the real world, everyone counts. It is such a cerebral, intellectual image, more art than fashion, definitely, and EXTREMELY provocative to put on a cover of a magazine. I really admire and appreciate the balls the people at W have. I commend them for not resorting to what has become the quintessential fashion magazine cover: the cookie-cutter sexy pouty model in an instantly identifiable designer piece glaring out at you. This is so much more beautiful and thought-provoking. And that is why I love it.

I don't like supers on the covers, but that is a great cover. Linda looks great. I love how they're not trying to make her look 17 ('coughEveryKateMossCovercough').

You should write to W and say this for their letters from readers section

I love it. Linda looks very good. I love that it is an outdoor shot.

In a way this cover shot is very Vogue Italia.

One of the smartest, most effective and best covers in a good while.
Linda looks great and actually looks her age there.
Looking forward to seeing her editorial.

Yes, finally an Art Issue cover that I am exited over since the first cover. I know this is only the fourth year, but its the first time since the first year that the cover is some original ART content. And lets just pretend last year's issue never happened.

Linda looks excellent in that shot. I love the way its composed. We are looking up at her, but we still see the buildings looming over her. Combined with the sign and her dress, it is a bunch of contradictions. Its a good representation of the art world right now (sales are suffering, etc) and the fashion world. I am also excited about the content.
