After seeing this, NO ONE can possibly say that the Jolie-Pitts want privacy and/or are publicity shy. Please, if the paps are chasing them all the time, half of it is due to their own doing. They're actively fueling the media's interest and I'm pretty sure they volunteered this shoot themselves.

Doing a photo session and plastering it all over a magazine? If they want to keep their children out of the public eye and not be stalked all the time, perhaps they should stop selling their children out.

They're no better than the rest of fame-hungry Hollywood.

That aside, the cover photo is lovely.

I'm not sure if that's exciting at all... thanks for info.

I like red/gray contrast on the cover, but i don't like the pic, it doesn't feel like cover shot.

21 more pictures? WHY?
That's 21 wasted pages of the art issue that could've been full of real, interesting images.

these pictures are just trying to draw in the new audience..
W subscribers are already going to receive this issue..

they're focusing on the tabloid-loving people who don't usually buy W... the people who are going to buy it at the newsstand and give them a great month of stats to present to their potential advertisers..

I really dislike this cover. In my opinion they should just keep their private pictures private, because I quite frankly don't want to see them, especially on the cover of the art issue of W. I totally agree with everyone who says that this is not art. The art issue is meant to be celebrating art and fashion, not some celebrity seeking media attention. I won't be buying this issue.

If that's the case, then the cover is making an artistic statement (ie outside viewer looking in on a private space). But am I the only one that isn't feeling the "intrusion on privacy"? There is nothing personal or "home photo album" about this cover. But then again, you could use my reaction as the art statement (that society feels entitled to private spaces, thus negating the titillation once derived from "looking in"). But AS IF Brad was going for that....

So W considers this art because Brad knows how to hold a camera and press the shutter button? I'm really not surprised by their choice to put Angelina on the cover, though. The magazine hasn't impressed me for quite some time now.

You could also argue it's no different to the Hello! magazine covers they've done to introduce their children. That's also been a look inside their private life, allowed by the adults involved.

Putting the words 'the art issue' on an image doesn't make the image art, it means that we start doing all the work of trying to figure out if it is.

I agree but the result is shockingly sub-part. Brangelina shift issue whatever magazine they're on, so W could have actually taken a risk. Why go for the tabloid fare? The issue is going to sell like crazy anyway, have a bit of artistic integrity.
I loved the Klein ed, which imo was underrated at the time because of that daft love triangle bull-crap. I was expecting something similar but I should have know it would not be so when I read Brad would actually take the pictures. Just so, so disappointed. I will buy that, but I'll just consider it my second Hello magazine issue of the year.

Have you been living under a rock? W has been celebrity obsessed for years now. I mean, even Jessica Simpson got a cover. It used to not bother me but lately the contents have been rubbish too, so I have not brought the mag in ages.

This will be one of the best-selling, if not THE best selling issue of the year, mark my words.

Uh, Brad's supposed artiness is just a embarrassing gimmick.
