I was wondering to myself, imagine if they had the time and liberty to make every issue an art issue, a mix of the contentious and the absurd, but always something that gets you thinking or talking. It would be one of the best magazines out there.
It sounds like a very good idea but for me it would be even better if every issue would be the Art & Commerce issue combining extravagant fashion editorials with an unexpected element of art and irony. Now that would be a magazine I'd pay serious money to subscribe to.
I just feel that Grace Coddington should have been part of the Visage shot with other legendary stylists or much better, she should have gotten the spot of Anna Dello Russo IMO.

Oh no! I'm so happy she wasn't part of any of it. It's all so bland and uninspiring. It just leaves me cold.
I'm quite intrigued with this new direction that W is taking. And it appears to me that Meisel was brought on to tap into the more eclectic side of his work and to add a touch of whimsy to this magazine. So far, I'm enjoying the ride!
Wow there are two fashion eds in the Art issue? That must be the first time in years...Now I'm even more excited to get this. Thanks a lot for posting Lee MG Tisci!
