Exactly! Although I still miss Alex White's incredible work for the magazine, I'm glad and relieved as well that Edward joined and kind of replaced her. At least that's what I think. And aside from Edward, there's also Lori Goldstein so W is really secured now when it comes to fashion editorials.

After seeing the editorial, I kind of laugh at myself because of what I suddenly thought about the cover. Didn't realize about the political thing inspiration that they were going for. Anyhow, I think it's a pretty good inspiration and Thompson was able to convey some of the remarkable, political images in the past.

I agree, I was soo disappointed after she left, but after last months issue and also Tilda's issue and editorial, W is looking back on track to what I've loved about it from the past.

Still wanting Alex to pop up within another/other publications regularly because I really loved her work.

Justin's expression is quite silly... I don't know why but imo they don't fit each other on this cover...
I'm not a big fan of group editorials, but Sects and the City ed look really great.

I like the idea of the ed and I think result is OK. Cover isn't something I would like but when you see inside ed, it makes sense. Not interested in any eds. Kinda downgrade after previous, stellar issue, for me personally. But I know, not every month is September.

Sects and the City looks great! I always have this thing about group editorials. Although the only models that I can really recognize are Katlin Aas, Mengyao Ming Xi, Nyasha Matonhodze and Cole Mohr. I just suck at recognizing newbies. The second shot looks so the Beatles to me. And as for the 5th shot, I don't know but I think it kind of resembles from this editorial with Maggie Rizer from some late 90s issue of US Harper's Bazaar also shot by McDean.

How I wish Poster Girls is longer one. It looks good as well.
