What do you do with your fashion mags?

Or any magazines for that matter?

Do you save them?
Recycling?
Give them to friends?
Just toss them?

I used to save all my fashion mags (starting in 1990), but I just don't have that kind of room anymore, nor do I have a strong love for many of the models, designers, photographers, makeup artists, etc. that are out there now.

I don't know why, but I have such a hard time parting with magazines!

I use them for school work, where I have to do tons of collages and stuff, mood and inspiration boards and stuff...so they never go to waste...whatever I dont use, I either put them up on my wall, and cover the whole thing with pics

I just collect them in a huge pile. Then when the pile gets to big I cut out my favorite parts and stick them on my door or on my walland throw them out.

I keep them for a while. I then make mood boards, or if there certain pictures i like i stick them in a book. I keep all the vogue uk catwalk reports. i have loads of vogues, french, english and italian ones in a big pile in my room, just sitting there. no use.

I keep them for a couple of months, and either pass them on to one of my flatmates or recycle them. usually if I'm bothered, I'll go through them and cut out the articles/pics that I want to keep for my fashion scrapbook before doing that.

What I usually do is stick the "fave makeup looks" that I cutout from mags into a nice little book, as well as fave clothes. I usually cut out my fave ads and stick them on my wall, and no I never throw away my mags. I have a GIGANTIC pile in my bedroom.

i keep some (i have all the us harpers bazaar's from the kate betts era...i like the design, plus some special editions, like the vogue 100th anniversary)...i make scrapbooks for every season with key looks, runway collages, etc. my favorite ads each season get framed and put on the wall in my office (this season i'm thinking either ysl or prada). i have some old magazines (bazaar from the 50-60s and flair from the 50s); those i have in boxes to keep them protected.

i also cut out things i want and put them in my datebook...
