The August Teen Vogue shows another bad cover with Evan Rachel Wood (following Nylon earlier this year). She's beautiful and stylish (didn't she pull off a light green Oscar de la Renta dress beautifully at the Oscars when she was nominated?), but somehow stylists don't know what to do with her? She's wearing Valentino RED on the cover.

Mostable notable ad in the issue:

Calvin Klein choice - Jeisa and others (one looks like Vlada but isn't).
Diesel jeans - Anne V and Ana Beatriz Barros. Eh, this ad isn't as hot as it sounds.

And my next foreign purchase will be:
Jessica Alba for August UK Arena!

Also, when i was in germany, i stayed with my grandmother in the house that my mom lived in until she was 20. and i went into my mom's old room, and i found a stack of old vogues and seventeens from the 1970's and early 80's. and when i got back, my mom had bought me a bunch of Seventeens from the early 1960's from a used bookstore. isnt that awesome?

actually it is vlada...there's an interview with her in the mag and it says she's in the choice calvin klein ads...

the evan rachel wood cover of teen vogue is bad. i didn't recognize her on the cover until i saw her name on it. i flipped through it at borders and its pretty good. lots of back to school fashion.

hilary duff is on ellegirl with her big new teeth. heh. the issue is ok, kind of dull.
