I just bought the latest issue of Violet with Kirsty Hume and family on the cover, September Nylon with Maggie Gyllenhaal on the cover, Elle Accessories, Chow (the food magazine) and the Sunday NY Times with the Fall Fashion issue of T Style Magazine featuring Tilda Swinton.

No, you have to buy it seperately...I think initially they were going to send it with the Sept. issue, but they decided that it would be better as a "newsstand only" item.

So I just got home from the bookstore... and every issue I've been wanting for the past month was there... so I picked up the new Flair (and the only one!), V (Yay Daria!), W, and the new Nylon with Maggie Gyllenhaal!

Trish Goff has an editorial, looking very cute.

What I think: definitely worthy, besting the Sept. issue.

WWD Accessories (thanks to someone here tipping me off it had arrived

)

For 10 bucks you would think they could get a little more artistic with their covers ... this one's much better than Spring, but I swear I could do better myself ...

But inside is what really matters, and it's pretty good ... unfortunately not all the little press release stories are accompanied by photos, and many of them don't have websites, so not very useful to me since I don't live in NY ...

I was a bit surprised by the quantity of brocade/tapestry accessories ... and also by all the colorful accessories in this dark season ...

I also wish they'd do a bit more with jewelry. (Though I believe there is a separate magazine for that, maybe that explains it ...)

Like all WWD magazines, very readable and enjoyable.
