I'm still waiting to get September Vogue in the mail... which is annoying because I could have bought it by now but last time I bought August Vouge and the next day it came in the mail...

me too! mine came today and I came this close to buying one on my way home. what's the point of the subcription?? how annoying!

My Sept. Vogue hasn't come in the mail either... and I bought it about a week ago because I couldn't wait

. I think it's a marketing scheme... they send it late so some people, like me for example, will go buy it anyway and more money for them.

I promised myself I'd only do it for the thick issues, though!

mine just arrived today. of course, i too had already gone to the newstand to purchase it. i always end up with a pristine copy, and the well-thumbed through use for swipe copy of sept vogue.

in nyc they sometimes stagger the delivery of this issue...the postal workers have complained about how heavy it is. i asked the mail deliverer about this in my old apartment building, he said they deliver them over the course of a few weeks because it weighs so much!

all the other issues i usually get on or around the newstand date.

I know. I've got every other magazine except Vogue. And all the stores have it, even my grocery store, and they never have the current magazines until really late in the month!

Wow! Lots of people haven't gotten Vouge yet... I called the people and they said the issue won't technically be late until Sep. 3, so it may not come until then.

I was so tempted to buy ALL the sep. magazine. After reading Harpers, Elle,Vogue, W, and Lucky, I feel that the fall tips are all the same. They are in my brain already and I got my own ideas as well. Time to summarize.
