(LONDON) An inside source at Vogue House in London told The Daily that style-queen Isabella Blow has stepped down from her post as fashion director for Tatler due to personal reasons, leaving the society mag's fashion direction in the capable hands of fashion editors Anna Bromilow and Charlie Anderson. The fashion world will be keenly watching for masthead changes to come.
Blow, who began her career at Condé Nast asisting Michael Roberts, then Tatler’s fashion director, became the magazine’s fashion director in 2003. She is credited with discovering talents Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy and has been called “the Peggy Guggenheim” of fashion. Tatler confirmed today that Isabella would remain involved in the magazine as fashion editor at large, but that the hunt was indeed on for a fashion director.
