I like Zink because it's so indie, and always gives credit to models. Unlike most other magazines.

^ Yes! And I've never seen it use the well-known magazines either.

I love the originality of the editorials and that it covers so much more than most others...like the movies and music section.

I think that the girls that are featured in Zink sometimes are a little too young, like 14 and 15, and not even that attractive. (A lot of new faces from Supreme and Willy...)
For the most part I dont really care for their editorials either, EXCEPT for the ones that are shot by Gray Scott, who is probably one of the top, up and coming photographers...He's like the next Steven Klein forreal forreal... Just beautifully shot photographs that are 100% art...Simply amazing...something that you would see in I.V. shot by Meisel. Fran Daly (who works with Gray) is an amazing stylist...

I do like the paper Zink is on...

Can anyone that collects z!nk please tell me if "Backstage Live!" and "Bird of Paradise" are in the December 2005 issue?

I bought an issue around December last year I think. I didn't really like it. I don't care to read the articles, but the editorials were mostly just okay.

I've been reading this magazine since the re-launch in 2004 and it's without a doubt one of my favorites - I really want to work for the art director because I think he has a great eye. That won't be happening any time soon, though, haha.

ok , i bought the august issue a couple of days ago and i'm really disappointed it's one of my favorite magazine because i think it's very well done and the photoshoots are most of the time really good
but the august issue is really thin , at first i thought it was a special issue or something like that
and the pictures are nothing really exciting .... exept some
anyone else bought it ?

This magazine has all the look of an edgy mag, but the content is really blah.
Especially the editorials. The pics have all the trappings of cutting edge photographers, but is vapid of content. This mag is to fashion mags as Lenny Kravitz is to music.
