Its very simple but its one of those campaigns that its all about the models and they did a great job pulling it off. Great season for Nadja!

These ads showcase the clothes very well but the shots alone feel stale to me.

Boring campaign and I don't like the shots or how the models are posing. They look in-between expressions/poses in each picture and the combination of the hair+mu+accessories is too much altogether. Not even decent. Perhaps they don't have the best budget to do separate shots for their accessories, eyewear & shoes like Prada, MiuMiu etc, but it could have come together a little more harmoniously. To me the shots, even though simple, read like clutter. Could have been a lot better if the modeling was just a little simplified and not so over-the-top, modeling 101. (the girls actually look clumsy to me, totally out of control and not quite sure of what's going on-the photographer didn't bring out the best in them)

This collection is too beautiful and ethereal to be executed in this MaxMara-like simplistic way. I appreciate the great posing and neat styling, but overall it's still a waste of this aquatic collection. The ad actually reminds me of the Jill Stuart campaigns Mario Sorrenti did in 2009, 2011, in a less tacky way.

My first thought was that the clothes are beautiful but the models are off!!!. The pose was fine but the faces are death.

Really, this is the best they could come with.
I have to reiterate what others have said, that it is very MaxMara, that maybe they don't have the budget anymore, but models against a plain backdrop is so unimaginative. I don't know who the current lensman is for the brand, but they have done wonderful campaigns in the past with Meisel and especially with Roversi and this is nowhere near those.
That said, campaigns I suppose, are all about showcasing the clothes and on that level it succeeds.

Yikes. This looks so stale and sad, quite frankly. Those awful bangs and horrible hair, that strange photography angle and that depressing backdrop just make me want to forget this campaign ever existed. I don't know how this is supposed to inspire anyone to buy AF.

Terribly uninspired and the clothes don't work in such a minimalistic environment.

This type of campaign again? I didn't like it last season, and I dislike it this season even more.
