where on earth does alexander mcqueen get the money to do a high-end advertising campaign like this?! for that matter, where did he get the money to return to theatre on the catwalk?!
i pray there's an eyewear collaboration or fragrance coming out soon to pay for all this because this is a lot of money spent in a global economy where people aren't splurging on mcqueenian excesses. why do a mcqueen dress when a wang one would do? why do a mcqueen pump when those from elizabeth and james do the job at half the price? hopefully, this grown-up campaign signals alexander mcqueen looking at his business like the grown-up brand it should be.
