I love Balenciaga ads. The collage one with by I & V with all the models is fantastic, I remeber seeing a different version somewhere...

My absolute favourite are the s/s 04 ads with Diana, I love Diana and that collection and the pictures are outstanding!

The fall/winter 05 ones with Freja and Raquell are also fantastic, I love how they evoke the spirit of the classic Irving Penn Balanciage pictures!

balenciaga ads are always either a hit or miss with me. i either LOVE it or HATE it. most times i love it. plus, anyone who uses freja to advertise their clothes and what not, i'm a fan of. =] freja's balenciaga ads are breathtaking.

I didn't really like the s/s07 ads when i saw them in magazines.
they don't really have any lasting impact

I really love the camera angle (upwards) of the older ads. They capture the impact of a Balenciaga outfit and wearer perfectly imo. It may seem a bit superhero-ish (like the one where there are about five models lined-up) but for me it reflects the individual and unafraid nature of a balenciaga wearer.

.. what a cool mini dress sort of thing.. #11
the simple layout brings your eye right to it
hm, it's like some sort of patchwork
i wonder if it's stiched on some fabrics are hanging loose

and i like how the s/s 2007 one, the model seems totally out of place in that suburban environment no match is a good match

thanks to everyone who posted the campaigns!

WOW I've never seen that mens ad before? Is it from some kind of Asian diffusion line or something.
