I would be all over this if it didn't looks so much like F/W 2010. Meisel is officially out of ideas. Otherwise I love the contrast of such modern clothing against the unsuitable backdrop.

I was hoping to see an office environment, but this looks interesting as well.

I agree to with GivenchyHomme the fake beach makes it look way cheaper, which is a shame as the collection was so well made and unique

Agree with everyone who said it was reminiscent of F/W 10, that was my first thought as well. I'm surprised by how good it looks so far as I had really low expectations. Love the colours and the set. I like what they did with the logo too.

The background does look a tad cheap but overall I like it. The contrast between the clothes and the setting would be even better had it been shot on a real beach though.

I absolutely adore his! May be the best Meisel campaign for Balenciaga.
The background is so good, so cheesy. The models look really nice, best directed than last season.
I need to see more but so far so good.

They chose the most surprising background for this, I mean the 80's office girls on the dunes? Lol.

Still I'm liking what I'm seeing, though. Sophie's close-up shot is phenomenal

I really dislike the casting for the menswear campaign, there is a slew of gorgeous and androgynous male models and they choose him ? I don't get it, the photography however is gorgeous and the overall effect and setting is great, Josh did a great job.

The womenswear isn't all that bad, but it could be better, I don't hate it but I don't love it either, Steven Meisel may be considering influential but he most certainly isn't forward thinking, I would hope that eventually they would bring David Sims back, the only campaign's I loved under Meisel were Fall 2009 with Jennifer Connelly and Fall 2011.

This is quite bad, much like its collections it seems balenciaga's campaigns have lost most of its relevancy. I agree David Sims should be brought back, he might be able to save at least the campaigns.

The beach reminds me of the one used in D&G S/S 2005. I have no idea who these girls are or see what they can bring to a Balenciaga ad campaign...but I guess that I just have no idea what Nicolas is about in general these days.

I can't believe I'm saying this but it's awesome! I really love it, specially the first shot. I can't wait to see more. The collection has looked quite good in print.
