^Well knowing Balenciaga, there probably won't be many more pics involved.
Anyhow much better than last seasons strung out mess, but still not doing a lot for me.....the models here look very ordinary, maybe that's what they were going for.

and boo to more newbies who will likely be easily replaced come next season. it's not fair to those girls who will be promised a fruitful career in modeling (how often does that happen, really), and to us fans who will like them, only to be disposed of in a couple of seasons.
balenciaga used to have some of my favorite ad campaigns, but not so much lately. such a shame.

So we have Julier Bugge, Juliet Ingleby, Anniek Kortleve, Sophie Hirschy, Linn Arvidson and Rosie Tapner. Would have loved to see Yulia Serzhantova, Kristin Liljegren or Laura Kampman again too.
Luckily for them, all the poorer quality collections from this year have most captivating and well-executed campaigns.
This atmosphere instantly bought me with the simplicity of the background and the contrast it creates with the clothes so that the real focus is set on girls.
Most of these models are unknown to me, which in my eyes is quite effective because of the whole mystery thing going on in this collection itself; in this case my personal standout is a redhead girl, she blends perfectly with the ambience.
I love this campaign!
Great use of newbies, great styling, great great set!
This is a tie with Marc Jacobs but I really love this idea of the beach with winter clothes.
Its a very nerd ad somehow I adore this.
Amazing! This really does make up for Balenciaga`s tragic campaign last season! I just love the setting, the styling, the hair, the natural makeup and the poses! Everything just works together!
There is something strangely appealing about the colors here. While I do not care for the clothes or the models at all, I think I'd definitely stop to study these pictures in a magazine.
