Well compared to let's say Gucci, Dior and Vuitton, Balenciaga is doing a good (if not great) business with the RTW. It's no secret they still very much depend on the bags though.
Also, I think Balenciaga is probably the most prestigious brand (together with YSL) of the Gucci Group so you can be sure they will invest as much money as neccessary.

Well I don't think we'll see a lot of runway dresses hanging in the stores..From what I've heard almost all runway dresses have been pre-ordered already at most Balenciaga stores worldwide

I agree. I think she looks good! I can't wait to see more.

I don't care for Jennifer Connelly at all, and while I don't hate this, it's totally lame and safe and predictable.

I hope visconti doesn't show up for this.. it just isn't good enough for such an appearance.
Oh, but I hope he does. I'm very curious what he would make of this campaign.

Hands down the worst Balenciaga ads i have ever seen.So very disapointed, because i think Jennifer is a true beauty and they could have done better with her,why so much airbrushing? It dosent even look like her.The second ad is so bad,the first one is not much better but its more tolerable.yawn.This is the best proof why models should be used for campaigns.etc!

I never got Jennifer...I've tried too. But I just don't see it. The only movie I liked her in was A Beautiful Mind, and only because Russell was in it.

These ads do her no justice in my books. What's up with the 'poses?' Looks like she studied Trentini and tried her best to imitate.

Really not keen on these ads, like somebody pointed out it just looks like an editorial.

I think this ad would be better if it was a model, jennifer doesnt look terrible but the concept needs to be changed and well if the right model was in these clothes the ads could be stunning. This wasn't as nice a collection as last though imo.

Just for comparison, even this shoot from latest UK Vogue editorial would have made a way better ad.
