Hmm. The Vogue UK editorial does look a lot better than this, but I like what they did with the loud background color in the second picture. And I'm not put off by the weird leg placement very much. It kind of lends to the alien feel of the clothes, how they sculpt a completely new body for the wearer.

So the rumors were true.

I honestly love her as an actress, because she`s unbelievably talented but I think in the role of spokesperson pour Balenciaga she`s completely miscast.

It doesn`t capture the essence of the collection, does it? I mean not that there was much of an essence but it looked more artistic on the runway and unbelievably commercial and almost cheap on the pics!

If it had to be an actress in this campaign, I'd like to have seen Cate Blanchett. She wears Balenciaga well.

I like Jennifer, but this campaign is horrible. Horrible pose, and even more horrible expression, I think that has something to do with the hair style.
Also the blue background is a really bad choice, the grey one looks a bit better.
And yes, I don't know how but they've managed to make her look like Pantoliano.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, by all means. however by choosing jennifer, nicolas obviously felt that jennifer best suited the collection, not cate blanchett, or a model. and while i love carolina p, jennifer mastered the light eyes-dark hair-strong brow look long before carolina started modeling.
