well the Balenciaga clothes have been in almost every editorial lately
I still thing it's a great collection but I would probably laugh if I wudl see someone with that on street. I mean like wearing a "top" with a jeans or with a jacket on could you imagine that?

these are gorgeous
and weird with the bags in the dilapidated dressers
thanks guys for loading all the photos esp the big ones !
i sort of wish they picked a little more unusual dress with odd fabric
like the one Charlotte Gainsbourg wears in the cover for Vogue UK (?)
but maybe what she wore was the only dress like that in the collection--i think so..
I'm in love with all of these. I haven't understood all the negativity towards the collection and the ad campaign. Not to mention the knee-jerk reaction to any celebrity ad campaign. TSFers in general elevate models to the level of deities and won't accept anyone else doing a model's job.
For me, I think Jennifer does a better job with these ads than ANY model could do. Why? BECAUSE of her unfamiliarity with traditional "posing." This thread is littered with complaints of her inability to pose, and people seem to like Daria's editorial much better. But to me, Daria's picture is pretty, but she makes the dress look too normal and elegant. The value of these pieces are that they are a bit awkward and unusually shaped. Jennifer's broken-doll poses ENHANCE the jointed, knobby silhouettes and her strange expressions add to the alien-esque otherworldliness that I think Nicolas was aiming for.
So all in all, I have been, and continue to be, in love with this collection and the ads

I like those, but I think these dresses deserve to be shown in color. And for all those people that said he should have used Carolina Pantoliano, well she was in that ed ... and I have to say that I still like Jennifer's pictures better when I see them side-by-side with the models:
