Maybe he asked someone how much the clothes he's modelling cost and this was his reaction, fortunately caught on camera...

nadja is definitely a wrong choice for balmain. meghan collison would rock this campaign.

I actually like this campaign! David clearly wanted to focus on the details of the clothes rather than an elaborate set! Color would have been nice, but i guess he wanted to go for a edgy direction? & it's clear that they favor Clement since he's been working for them for so long! plus Nadja was an exclusive for the show so it was kind of obvious that she was going to possibly get the campaign!!

What a sad, moody campaign! Balmain is about sex & rock n roll, not sadly staring at the floor tiles in your bathroom.

David Sims has been quite boring lately.

This was my favorite Balmain ad in a while. Sure it looks like "Balmain gone melancholy", but that feeling and the fact that it's shot in B&W is really fitting for a Fall campaign, I think. Besides, what does his/her expression have to do with the clothes (which by they way look awesome) that they are selling?

"Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all?"
