I think Psylocke nailed what's lacking most about this campaign, the vacant models. They make this look so amateur, in fact these advertisements almost look fan-made to me. I think the concept could have been beautiful, but the more I look at these shots the more I hate them.

This is so phoned in, it is the same styling and poses as the last two or three campaigns but shot in a different location in black and white. I tend not to mind the repetitive and straightforward nature of Burberry campaigns, but this looks so flat, I dunno perhaps the print version will have more zing.

What the heck is going on in this picture, is it a weird pose or camera angle, is the male model's head photoshopped onto another body?

I used to like Burberry, but I was tired of its ads even 4 seasons ago.

I agree! I used to love Burberry campaigns but now they've got so boring, ew. I think the last one I really liked was S/S 08

Whatever, I like the black and white come back, and the "dramatic" atmosphere but, oh god oh god, the models... again. Testino, please go away and Bailey, you need to get out of the UK for a weekend.

It looks like a campaign for one of their minor labels. Still, lovely to see Gabriella.

Tell me about it, I know Burberry is a British label and they want to maintain their heritage blah blah blah, but it wouldn't hurt them if for once they booked *gasp* someone who is not British for their campaign.

I'm all for a major change up in the advertising for Burberry, but it is so over-stylized it looks quite ridiculous. I'm thinking it might actually look better in print, but those 2 do nothing for me, so we'll see.

It's a little dull. At least it's not another campaign in a studio against a white backdrop... I suppose Burberry are having a lot of success financially with their ultra British 'heritage' theme so they may as well continue with it. It's very attractive for their core demographic. I'd love for Bailey to shake Burberry up and bring out something very new, though. I loved the brand's campaigns in the late 90s and early 2000's.
