^ I think it's a bit presumptuous and vulgar to call her [bad words!]. Nobody has ascertained whether or not she is an addict nor can we presume so on the basis of a few photos. I'm not saying she isn't one, but we don't really know the full circumstances of her relationship with coccaine.

Perhaps, but anyone who chose to use in private would not be set up by the Daily Mirror and their camera equipped dealers. Someone should swab the DM's bathrooms and investigate their contacts - isn't that obvious. How did they acquire these photographs?

When people are using at the recreational level they are very careful about whom they are surrounded by and they are virtually never caught unless someone sets out to do so. When a person no longer cares about keeping their use private - the social services step in. Kate does care about keeping it private . She just trusted the wrong person - and that is her biggest mistake.

I agree. The way things are judged as being so black and white is ridiculous. I object far more to alcohol culture in this country. Although I have to say Kate has become rather blase about hiding her drug use. Apparently there are now allegations of drug fuelled parties? That was bound to come out.

lolz!
I also think that terms like crack addict and junkie ho or whatever are really unnecessary. Remember Kate may not be Audrey Hepburn (personally I prefer Kate) but then again remember you aren't Kate Moss. And the non-fashion media WILL remember her because she is synonymous with modelling and she has been in dozens of iconic images. You cannot talk about 90s fashion without talking about her just like you can't talk about the golden age of Hollywood without mentioning Marilyn. You can't talk about Britchic or even Britrock without talking about her. She can retire but not because of her financial stability but because her immortality is guaranteed.

i think mary kate olsen or nicole ritchie should do her biopic just like angelina did gia's.

lolz!
I would have thought your style icon was Courtney Love and not a lady like Audrey Hepburn considering how foul mouthed you are.

Please can we keep the name calling down. If you have an opinion and want to express it, thats fine, but being immature about it really isn't going to help prove your point and I will start to edit posts if I deem it necessary.

Back on topic:
Looks like Rimmel might be set to dump Kate as well. Not sure...I agree with whoever said she brought an edge to their image....but maybe too much? Not sure mum's will want to buy their 12 year olds makeup from there if they see Kate as the face of it.

Quote:
Under fire supermodel Kate Moss's career is in tatters as another major fashion company looked set to dump her.

Following more allegations of drug abuse cosmetics giant Rimmel, which has used Moss in advertising campaigns since 2001, said it was reviewing her contract. There was little sympathy for the Croydon-born fashion icon in a terse and strongly worded statement issued by the company.

"Rimmel London is shocked and dismayed by the recent press allegations surrounding Kate Moss's behaviour,"

it said. "We are currently reviewing her contract."

Senior figures at Rimmel, which markets its products at young people, were said to be deeply concerned by the example Moss was setting after she was secretly pictured apparently snorting cocaine.

The former darling of the fashion world has already been dumped by Burberry, Chanel and Swedish clothing giant H&M. Other labels, keen to dissociate themselves from her tarnished image, may now follow suit.

Moss has suffered a further blow as The Sun newspaper published new allegations about drug-fuelled parties at her country mansion near Lechlade, Gloucestershire, including claims that powerful crack cocaine was smoked openly. But Moss's lawyer Gerrard Tyrell issued an unequivocal denial that she had been involved with crack cocaine, saying: "The allegations that you put to me are specifically denied by my client."

Moss, who in the past has earned an estimated £4 million a year, has maintained a public silence since the drugs storm began and she was conspicuously absent from her friend Sadie Frost's fashion show on Wednesday night.

Paparazzi crowded the entrance to Home House members' club in London in the hope that Moss might put in an appearance and there was tight security screening for guests. But she never arrived and fellow members of her so-called "Primrose Hill" set of friends, who are based in Primrose Hill in north London, remained tight-lipped on the recent revelations.

British company Burberry announced on Wednesday that a campaign involving Moss scheduled for autumn had been cancelled by mutual consent in the wake of the drug allegations. "Kate has always been a fantastic model and highly professional for Burberry," it said. Hours earlier Chanel had announced it would not be renewing the model's contract to be the face of its Coco Mademoiselle perfume. H&M had started the domino effect on Tuesday when it dropped Moss from a planned advertising campaign. Moss also faces a possible police probe over the drug allegations after Sir Ian Blair, Britain's top police officer, said he had personally ordered a Scotland Yard investigation.

Endemic behavior
Unfortunately it seem endemic. Of course in Kates case she flies high.. therefore falls hard. This is so sad...

By HEATHER BROWNE

COCAINE abuse is rampant in Britain’s modelling industry, a Sun probe can reveal.

Our investigation into drug use at London Fashion Week found the Class-A powder at two out of three shows.

Tests commissioned by The Sun confirmed traces of cocaine in toilets used by top models and designers.

The results come just a week after Kate Moss was exposed as a cocaine user — and explodes the myth that the drug is not widespread in the fashion world.

Moss was dumped from a string of fashion chains after she was pictured taking drugs with boyfriend Pete Doherty.

At Fashion Week, designers and stylists are able to relax backstage in the dressing room area with invited guests before the next show begins.

While our reporter queued, a stream of models and hangers-on popped in and out of the portable loo behind the catwalk tent outside the Natural History Museum in Kensington, West London.

One girl came out sniffing before anxiously wiping her left nostril in the mirror.

Cocaine traces were on toilet lids and wooden cisterns.

Two swabs were taken on Tuesday after a Topshop-sponsored event by new designer Ashish and cult design label Eley Kishimoto.

VIP guests there included ex-All Saints stars Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt, and Hugh Grant’s girlfriend Jemima Khan.

M&S boss Stuart Rose was also spotted.

There is no suggestion any of them took the drug.

The swabs were tested positive by labs including Scientifics, who specialise in testing drugs for the police.

Forensic scientist Adam Booker said: “There were definitely traces of cocaine on two of the samples.”

Six out of six samples taken at after-show parties for top designers including Versace and Alexander McQueen also tested positive.

Guests included Mariah Carey, England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, Joan Collins and Bob Geldof. There is no suggestion any of them had used drugs.

London Fashion Week had no comment to make about the traces of cocaine found at their event’s facilities.

A spokesperson for Eley Kishimoto said: “The toilets were communal for every show.”

Philip Stephen, spokesman for Ashish and owner of London boutique Concrete, said: “As far as I’m aware no one used drugs at Ashish’s show.”

He added: “Cocaine is widespread in the fashion industry. Unfortunately there are some models who can’t stay skinny without using drugs.”

Mom... I think the phrase you're looking for is "non-troll person with a brain". Ah, this is a case of coke is so passé it's all about the opioid receptors. Yeah, denial of what killed Kurt seems to complete your case against addiction nicely
