I know it's probably incomprehensibly sacrilegious to say but..has anyone noticed how Amy Winehouse the whole affair is? The feline eyes[I know, Prada did it too] but the tall and shapely beehive too?

Still, top campaign, much prefer it to last season. The chair's lacquer is luscious.

LOL, so this is for pre fall 2008, so this ads will appear in mags around june right? Hilarious that these are released earlier than the s/s 08 ads.

the emphasis in all the details is what makes this an outstanding ad in my book

.. Karl might not be the best photographer at times but the huge advantage he has is that he knows how to sell his own creations through his photography.. I don't think anyone would understand clothes better than the person who made them, and that's where his credit and charm as a photographer is for me.. which Bruno Pieters takes into perfection, but that's another topic..

the styling is pretty fantastic indeed but I disagree with the Winehouse references as the style she's been channeling through a scenester loop is actually inspired in what both Chanel and the likes of Marc Jacobs have been doing ever since that lady-like (hate that word) kicked off in 2002 and never entirely left unfortunately.. the makeup and hair.. same for the arrangement in the clothes, it's probably Panos Yiapanis again.. he's done similar stuff for the brand before..
