Brings me to Claudia Schiffer's Salvatore Ferragamo ads a while back. Needless to say these don't work and the idea falls flat. The biggest problem is that she is not interacting enough with the Paparazzi and what's going on around her to make this feel believable. Her expressions are vague and often feel deadpan and her body language often doesn't match her face.
The video is quite charming but I'm not impressed. The photos haven't impressed me either.
I can't remember when this paparazzi idea was well executed... The only example I can think of (which was perfect, btw) was that editorial with Mariacarla Boscono by Demarchelier for Vogue Paris. Man, that was stunning!
^Well they attempted the Paparazzi style with Kate Moss' Dior Addict Make-up campaign so I don't understand why they've tried to re-hash that same old idea, although this is quite stunning, why put something out similar that is currently in circulation ? Have Dior ran out of ideas ? seems to me they are...
Oh oh see you said some key words, alright, you said I have spice and fire, so stay away before I burn yo ass up.
